L’Erbolario was founded in Lodi in 1978 as a small herbalist shop, but it had been the dream of its founders for some time before then: Franco Bergamaschi and his wife Daniela Villa, who since their teens had shared a passion for herbal medicine.

Today L’Erbolario continues to be a family company, producing and distributing throughout the world a vast range of cosmetics, with around 40 new products every year: perfumed lines, products for the care and beauty of face, body and hair, as well as a men’s line and a travel kit. The monobrand stores, more than 150 in Italy and abroad, are the driving force behind the brand’s distribution strategy.
