Star Capital SGR S.p.A. is a savings management company specialised in investment in small and medium-sized (PMI) companies.

Star Capital has been operating in the management of closed investment funds since November 2002 and, since May 2010, its capital is entirely held by its management, which acquired it from the previous shareholders, Efibanca and Palladio Finanza. Star Capital is therefore an independent company which is not linked to any banking, financial or industrial group. The management activity is carried out by an independent management team with proven experience in the sector. Currently Star Capital manages three closed funds with a total capital of over EUR 250 million, subscribed primarily by foreign institutional investors and, residually, by Italian financial institutions and entrepreneurs. In particular, in August 2012 the first closing of the new fund managed by Start Capital, the Star III fund, was successfully executed.
